First Appointment Expectations

Initially, you will be seen for a thorough examination and diagnosis. This is what you will experience:

  • Full Mouth digital x-rays will be taken unless you have a current series from your referring doctor.
  • A clinical examination will include an evaluation of periodontal and other soft tissues of the head and neck, occlusion of the teeth (the manner in which your teeth come together), the supporting bone, jaw joints, muscles of the face and all restorative and prosthetic treatments completed by any previous dentists or current primary dentist.
  • Diagnosis and treatment options will be determined from the detailed clinical examination that at times may include plaster models of your mouth, the interpretation of digital x-rays and oral photographs and other diagnostic procedures. At that time, you will be informed of any problems found, the benefits of different treatment choices, an approximate time required to complete the treatment and an estimated cost of the treatment.

Complex cases often require an additional consultation appointment. The doctor and his staff will discuss the options available to you to achieve your oral health goals.

By educating our clients and explaining all aspects of treatment choices, our clients understand the procedures more clearly. Answering your questions and addressing your concerns will help you make an informed decision about the right dental care to meet your personal needs.

While no doctor can guarantee any results, we believe that our attention to every detail allows us to generate superior results time and time again.

Our office takes extreme pride in our work by making a constant effort to improve the quality of prosthodontic services, offering enjoyable, long-term benefits.

Once you have completed your treatment we hope you will be proud to tell family members, friends and referring doctors about the quality care you experienced. Of course, all personal referrals are sincerely appreciated.
